Morning all, I thought I'd ask SpiceWorks since Microsoft's support team aren't being particularly helpful at the moment, and the design choices behind the newly dubbed Visual Studio subscriptions are baffling to say the least. The question is: is there a hard limit to the number of activations per license? Specifically, I'm wondering about Server 2016 Standard. We use the licenses for our development virtual machines, so it would be good to keep track of when we're approaching the limit and when licenses become free after we've retired a system. However, Microsoft haven't built this functionality in to help us determine the answers to these questions. In fact, their support team has said I should keep track of the activations myself to determine what the hard limit is. I'm no programmer/coder, but surely it's a simple bit of code that says.

If all you need is the current version of Visual Studio Professional, you can make a one-time standalone license purchase. If you need new versions of Visual Studio Professional, access to Azure DevOps, or have short-term needs then the Visual Studio Professional monthly subscription may be a better option. Visual Studio 2017 License Key Finale Release increases your productivity and makes also it clean to do your work for a larger group. A go-live License is a cover with Install Aware free version; that means you are allowed to renew setups.

I have found the following under 'Licenses' - 'License Summary' - details on a number of activations: Licence License Effective Unresolved Active SA Product Family Version Quantity Quantity Quantity ServersWindows Server - User CAL 2016 15 0 15 Unfortunately, this doesn't tell me what licenses are near the limit, but it's something at least. Yeah those are just User CALs. They won't have product keys associated with them. If that's all that are showing in your account, and you only have one relationship listed under your account, then you aren't assigned as the manager for the Windows Server product keys you're using. If you were, you'd see them in the License Summary.

Does Running Package Scripts require some special Internet connection? Is this an issue?

If you find out who manages the VS subscriptions, you can have them add your account to the subscription. That said my first screenshot happened to be for a VL production setup and not MSDN/VS. I looked back at my VS ones and found that the older WS MAKs showed up (2008 R2) but nothing newer.

So even if you have access to the subscription, you might not see anything. VS subscription management definitely leaves a lot to be desired these days. Google drive for mac ppc free.
