Mac Calendar Keeps Asking For Password
Jun 25, 2015 Outlook for Mac 2016 - Repeated password prompts still an issue. All- As we know, one of the biggest bugs in Outlook for Mac 2016 is the ever-so-annoying repeated password prompt problem. Budget templates for mac excel. It's seemingly random, but I keep having to re-enter my Outlook (and to a lesser extent Gmail) password every so often, including having to enter my 2 factor authentication. I haven't changed my password.
I am having trouble with Outlook it keeps on asking me for password and it happens across all devices. I actually managed to create a profile just that every single time i launch outlook i will be asked to enter the password. Eventhough the password is correct and i ticked remember my credentials it will still ask me enter the password.
Which is why i believe it is not the outlook client that is being an ass. Anyway a little background on my environment, i am running hybrid exchange, i have multiple domains setup but only 1 is running hybrid. The mailbox that keeps on prompting password is on the cloud. Steps i did, • recreate profile • ran the SaRa (ms support and recovery assistant) • had ensured i'm using the latest version of office All the steps i did does nothing. Any idea why? I saw several instances of this problem in a very large Outlook 2013/Exchange 365 rollout I worked.
What ended up fixing the problem was disabling some of the add-ins. The list is under File, Options, AddIns. Here's a link to a helpful screenshots. I recommend you start by disabling as many as possible, verify the problem is resolved, then re-add those that are necessary one at a time to make sure you don't re-enable the offending one. Across the enterprise, we didn't have any consistency as to which add-in was the root cause.
The only consistency was that this procedure fixed them all.
Had similar problem We had a similar problem. All our clients had their user settings (calendar, email etc) installed through the settings profile in the profile manager. But the calendar kept on asking for password. What we did was: Deactivated the calendar in the internet accounts settings Add new account (in internet accounts), and select OS X Server Enter hostname, name and credentials When the client has identified the services, de-select all services except calendar.
It will then add the calendar service back on the client, and hopefully it won't bug you with the password anymore.
